CreEeT - communcal food and painting
Every month, Dokhuis hosts CreEeT—a cozy and welcoming evening where food and creativity bring people together. In collaboration with Stichting Mano, we invite both newcomers and long-time Rotterdammers to meet, share, and create.
The name CreEeT comes from two Dutch words: creëren (to create) and eten (to eat) — and that’s exactly what we do. Each edition, we enjoy a homemade meal from a different culture, followed by a creative activity that we explore together.
At the heart of CreEeT are the people who share their creativity with the group. Each workshop is led by someone who brings their own story, talent, or passion — whether it’s drawing, music, storytelling, or something completely different. We especially encourage newcomers to take on this role. It’s a chance to step forward, share something personal, and be seen. These moments are often the most special — when someone realizes their skills matter and others truly appreciate what they bring.
